The escape rooms may be closed right now, but that didn't stop our Grade Eight students from creating their own "escape room" fun before the holidays! Working together as a team, some of our Grade Eight Grammarians took part in a holiday-themed and Language Arts-focused Escape Room activity. The tasks included working with figurative language, poetry, plot graphing, decoding and parts of speech! Check out these photos of them in action:
