Altruism: Grade Two Students Chat with Dr. Zellars

Updated: Nov 26, 2020

Our Grade Two students were treated to a virtual visit in October with Dr. Rachel Zellars, Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Justice & Community Studies at St. Mary's University (SMU). Dr. Zellars took the time to discuss human rights and chat about what they mean with our young Grammarians. In addition to her work at SMU, Dr. Zellars is a Grammar parent and the co-founder of the African Nova Scotian Freedom School and of BLM Solidarity Fund, which has raised over $300,000 since March for community members in need.
