For the first time since 2019, Halifax Grammar School hosted one great evening with our Three Great Chefs Fundraiser! Our community came together at the Atlantica Hotel over excellent food and drinks to raise funds for Student Travel Assistance.
The evening consisted of a five-course dinner paired with a glass of wine for each meal. Putting the chefs in Three Great Chefs, we welcomed Grammar Alumni Colin Bebbington '07 of Dine Together and Scotian Heritage Foods, Craig Flinn of 2 Doors Down, and Terry Vassallo of Mappatura Bistro.
At the end of the evening, we hosted a live auction on three different packages for attendees to bet on. The items included:
Dinner for 10-12 in your home prepared by Chef Colin Bebbington '07 (Valued at $1,200)
East Coast Outfitters Guided Half-Day Kayak Tour (Valued at $800)
Dinner for 8 in your home, prepared by Chef Dennis Johnston
Together we raised over $24,500 in support of Student Travel Assistance! Whether it is travelling to a debate match, a sporting event, or a band recital, Student Travel Assistance means no student is left behind.
