Under the guidance of Ms. Fainshtein, our Grade Eight students have been practicing their reverse shading in art class. The students were introduced to the main elements of shading and were challenged to work on the “reverse” shading afterwards. Throughout the process, Grammarians created perspective and depth in their art pieces, while reversing their usual thinking in terms of shading and doing everything in the opposite way as they would normally. At Grammar, we're always inspired by our teachers who push the boundaries and encourage our students to use their imaginations to their full capacity.
