For the Prep School's Mi'kmaq History Unit, Grade 3 students created books on the lessons to wrap up the unit! Students wrote about what they learned regarding history with the Mi'Kmaq people and their culture for the books. Along with the writing, they created the illustrations for the book to follow their writing. Afterwards, the students tied their books together, officially having a book created about what they learned from the unit.
Grammar proudly displayed the books in the school's atrium to show everyone their excellent work. This part of the lesson was a perfect way for the students to show their learning in a fun and creative way, especially with such an important lesson regarding Canada's history.
