At Grammar, we make high-quality learning a fun activity for our students. In January, Jade Douris-O'Hara, Halifax-based actor and studio director for The Studio at Shakespeare by the Sea, taught two introduction to Shakespeare classes over Zoom to our Grade Seven Grammarians! During her class, she helped the student analyze the text like an actor would, along with working on staging and actions tied to the text for performance.
During the class, she had the student get up and get moving to get them ready for the stage like an actor would! We're glad to have local actors like Jade to help our students see the fun in every subject, and show them what it's like working in the arts.
