This year's graduating class received scholarships from various universities.
The following is a list to date of this year's students and the scholarships they have received (photos are in order of list below):
Ian Keefe received the Chancellor's Scholarship from Queen's University. The Chancellor Scholarship is given to future students who represent superior academic ability, creative and original thinking and proven leadership qualities.
Julian Oxner received the Chancellor's Scholarship from Dalhousie University and has plans to pursue a degree in engineering.
Maura Whitman received the Board of Governors Scholarship from Acadia University and has plans to take a Bachelor of Science in psychology.
Noelle Tsimiklis received the President's Scholarship from Acadia University and will go on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in chemistry.
Olivia De Jager received a scholarship from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City where she will take a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre.
A big congrats to this year's valedictorian - Jackson Hunter. Every year the valedictorian is voted by the senior faculty and all Grade 12 students. Jackson will give a speech at the closing ceremony on behalf of the graduating class.
