Athletics: Exciting wins for junior badminton team

Congratulations to the grade 7 and 8 student badminton team for pull off exciting wins in the city, regional and provincial championships.

After intense tryouts in January and hard practice through February and March, the competition began and went through to the beginning of April. The city and regional meets were held at Citadel High School in Halifax, culminating in an exciting provincial at CEC High School in Truro.

Ryan Wang rallied and won gold for city, regional and provincials in boys singles, and Jeffrey Zhang and Xinghao Li were took the top spot for boys doubles. Henry McKegney and Francesca King also landed a gold in mixed doubles.
