Athletics: Frisbee teams closes competition for senior division title

Two Halifax Grammar School frisbee teams returned with spirit from the second annual Ultimate Frisbee Tournament at the BMO Soccer Centre on Friday, April 26.


Seventeen Grade 9 Grammar School students took home the senior division title. They competed with Armbrae Academy and Kings-Edgehill School. Winning two close games with a one point victory margin over both teams.

Eighteen Grade 8 students went 3-1 in round robin play, but lost 12-8 in a hard-fought battle against Halifax Independent School in the final.


All 35 student athletes brought pride to their school. The annual event almost doubled in size and saw the creation of a senior division, which will allow for an even bigger event next year.
