On September 27, Grammar students marched with more than 10,000 people in downtown Halifax to join the global climate strike movement. The march ended at Grand Parade, where young people from across the province made their way to the steps of city hall and spoke about why they took part in the strike.
Grammar student, Abby Steeves'23, was interviewed by CBC's Information Morning and said her goal is to get people to "actually do something. No one is going to do anything if they think it's so helpless that ... nothing can be done, and no one will do anything if they think it's not a big deal."
We're proud of our students for raising their voices in support of change.
